Chlorination is a treatment process, not a guess
An unsafe bacteria result does not automatically mean the well is permanently bad. Contamination can enter through a damaged cap, compromised seal, recent service, or sampling error. Aqua reviews the system, performs chlorination when appropriate, and explains the follow-up testing sequence.
Plan for contact time and flushing
The disinfectant must move through the well and plumbing, remain in contact for the required period, and then be flushed safely. Water use is restricted during parts of the process. Follow the instructions you receive for the specific property.
Confirm the result with a new sample
Chlorination is not complete evidence of safe water. A properly timed follow-up sample confirms whether the treatment and any repairs resolved the concern.

- Flooding or surface water may have reached the well
- Odor or water-quality changes need professional evaluation
