Troubleshoot No Water or Low Pressure

No water and low pressure can come from the well, pump, controls, pressure tank, a buried leak, plumbing, or heavy demand. A few observations help narrow the starting point.

Safe checks

Confirm whether every fixture is affected, note the pressure-gauge reading if visible, listen for pump operation, and look for water surfacing along the buried line route.

  1. Check whether the issue affects hot and cold water.
  2. Note any tripped breaker, but do not repeatedly reset it.
  3. Ask whether irrigation or another large water use is running.
  4. Call Aqua if the property has no water or the cause is unclear.

Stop when electricity or flooding is involved

Do not open controls or touch wet electrical equipment. Use emergency services or the utility first when there is an immediate electrical or flooding hazard.

Describe the timing

Tell Aqua when the problem began, whether it is constant or intermittent, and what work or weather preceded it.
