Spread out heavy water use
Irrigation, laundry, bathing, pools, and livestock use can overlap. Staggering large uses may reduce peak demand on the well and pump.
Watch for a changing pattern
Longer pump run times, pressure loss, air at fixtures, or sediment should be reported. Stop if the system loses water or electrical protection trips.
Do not assume the well is dry
A pump, control, pressure tank, leak, or demand problem can look like reduced well supply. Diagnosis separates the possibilities.
